I'm getting the "XX Please check your config setting" error, removed DB and user a couple of times. I have installed Indexhibit before on a different server with no problems.

Checked the spec of the server, looks good to me.

Operating system - Linux
Apache version - 2.2.8 (Unix)
MySQL version - 4.1.22-standard
PHP version - 5.2.5

The host is namehog.net, any one else managed to install with them or had problems?

Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to do a folio for a friend in desperate need of a job! :)

Check and recheck the connection info...confirm with the host. We see it over and over that these aren\'t correct.

Phoned the helpfully server people. They have a different ip for the DB so localhost don\'t work. All sorted now :)
