Index + Exhibit

Hi Ive been using Indexhibit sucessfully for the last week, experimenting with code has helped me learn a lot however I decided to abandon all the code I had edited in the index.php & sample.css files because it was getting very messy and wanted to start anew.

So I decided to trash all the files in my root folder redownload indexhibit.zip and start again.

So I sucessfully logged in again and set up the database again, all good,

(strangly enough it had kept my exhibition details, names & chronological order)

but then when I go to my home page:
www.rocketmedia.ie/proof/gar

it gives the error code: "Page not found error here."

Dont know whats going wrong. If anyone could help me out in sucessfully restarting my indexhibit sitebuilding process again id be very greatful.

I can still edit my exhibits at the URL
http://www.rocketmedia.ie/proof/gar/ndxz-studio/
and can see previews also but cannot actually see my site

Also Im a bit confused by the index.php files

There is one in the root folder
one in the ndxz-studio folder
and one in the sample folder

can someone explain this to me. thanks for your help

When you reinstall you must delete out the previous tables completely using PHPMyAdmin or whatever your host provides you with.

You somehow have deleted your index page for the site - it's record in the database.

Start over...delete those tables...then reinstall and I bet it's all good.

Thats a bit over my head to be honest. Is there any way you can tell me or give me some suggestions as to how I might do this i.e "delete out the previous tables"

I'm not sure what my host provides me with & wont be able to contact my host until tuesday and am just a bit eager to experiment.

No problems if its not possible and thanks for your help anyways.
