oops! dumb question, sorry.
It's not dumb question at all. There's a plugin that will do that for you in the downloads page, called "random background plugin". Good luck!
Hi Eloisa,
I'm trying to add a background image to my home page at:
www.listensenserespond.com
I've been reading and re-reading all the posts here regarding the random background plugin that i've installed.
I've learned the following:

-------------
QUESTION REGARDING THE 'BACKGROUNDER' PLUGIN REPLACEMENT:QUESTION REGARDING THE 'BACKGROUNDER' PLUGIN REPLACEMENT:
- Do I replace the 'backgrounder' plugin in the index.php file?
- If so, what specific line of code am I looking to replace?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Look for the plugin...and replace it...
<plugin:ndxz_backgrounder />Something like that...more info...
I mustn't be normal. I'm looking for it AND searching for that line of code to replace or something similar and am not finding it...
Thoughts?
Best,
Scott
<plug:backgrounder color='<%color%>', img='<%bgimg%>', tile='<%tiling%>' />That line of code does not exist in any files within the folders sitting on my server.
Shall I reinstall?
No.
You are looking in the wrong place if you can't find it...or...you've already removed it. It's here...
your-site-whatever-it-is.com/ndxz-studio/site/sample/index.php

It's not an image...it's directions to the file.
