Hi,
i am kind of novice, so sorry to disturbe you with such question,
I try to perform indexhibit.
So, usuing my FTP application, i uploaded the contents of the indexhibit folder into the root folder of my server.

Now i'am trying to change the permissions to 777 but a got a failed message :

200 dc.w $4E71
SITE CHMOD 777 files
550 Ne peut changer les permissions vers files
--

iam using cyberduck as ftp conecting, and my server is provided by online.net, if that can help.

may i miss something ?

Your host will not allow you to change permissions...you can't run Indexhibit.

waiting for a answer from them to see what they can do
(i upgraded my account to MYSQL yesterday :( )

anyway, do you have a host name that you will recommend me please?
a saw you was speaking about that in a previous post but cant found it now..
