We are still having problems with editing our webiste (not with viewing it). This just started yesterday after weeks of working perfectly.
When we go to this URL:

There is a blank page--no content at all. There is no place to login; we are not having trouble with our password, we can't see or type anything.

My guess is that somewhere you guys nicked a file so that the backend will not work...it happens. It's the most difficult thing to for us to help fix...
You need to reupload your files try to try make it work again. And be sure you don't wipe our your site templates or the connection file.

We're still not sure what we did. Does nicking a file mean that the source code in one of the files was accidentally messed up?

It means you probably deleted a file somewhere along the path.
