Indexhibit Support

Hi there,

I used Vaska's customization to make the Visual Index thumbnails have a uniform height instead of width. Found here: indexhibit.org/forum/thread/17750/

Only problem is that it made the page load really reaaalllllllly slowly (15 seconds ~ a lifetime). Any idea why?

I switched the old code back in for now — so visiting the site may not be of any help — but the page is olacholewa.com/book-one/

Also Overlay doesn't seem to be working in Chrome. Works ok (though slow) in Safari and Firefox. I should probably open a separate thread for that...

Oh wait the Overlay is kinda working in Chrome... its just that the background is on top of the elements. Interesting...

(I adjusted the opacity of the background and POP! there it was. Underneath.)

Any help?

Switching to the Uniform Height option increases server response time by a whopping 18 seconds (according to Google). Can this be fixed?
