Installation 404 Page Not found.

Apologies if this sounds basic but this is my first website.

I am using go daddy linus version with cpanel, I've uploaded the indexhibit files to the go daddy files manager using cyberduck and have changed the files to the necessary permissions but I am now unable to install indexhibit as when I type in

maxdowd.com/ndxzstudio/… I just get 404 page not found.

Any ideas what the problem might be?? Thanks

Max, are you familiar with FTP? The built-in files manager does some really weird things to files and I recommend not using that.

Also, the folder you place the files in is very important - I'm assuming godaddy has informed you where they go?

Not really. I am using the FTP application cyber duck which is automatically loading the files into my go daddy file manager. Should I be loading them another way? Where do the files have to go specifically? They are simply residing in my go daddy file manage, files, index etc.

If you have an email I can send you some screenshots which you might be able to decipher better?

Thanks for your help

Max

That doesn't sound like the right folder - go ahead and send me screenshots.
