Hello,

I'm having troubling installing indexhibitv069. I think the problem is something to do with the fact that I bought my website and am hosting through mr. site (mrsite.co.uk) - are you familiar with this? anyway, mr. site requires the main homepage to be called DEFAULT.HTM and i assume this is conflicting with index.php (which is what indexhibit requires). Is there any way of overwriting this do you know? I hope this makes sense?!

Are you sure they offer databases and php? I don't see any mention of it on their site.

And also, it's the wrong kind of server.

oh i don't know if they offer databases and php - do you mean can they support them? to be honest i'm a graphic designer and by no means a programmer in any way so a lot of this stuff is double-dutch to me! how is it the wrong kind of server? does indexhibit only work on certain types of servers? is this something i need to look at when buying a domain name?

Well...you know I'm a graphic designer too (who knows how to code stuff). ;)

At the beginning of the "How to install" page it gives you the lowdown on server requirements.

You might consider Servage.net (http://www.servage.net ) for hosting - we're pretty happy with them and it's more than you will ever need and is a pretty simple setup.
