I have just recently created my indexhibit site

but have reached a small problem straight away which im guessing it pretty obvious to sort out?

at the moment my site only appears with this url:

http://www.amostyndesign.com/indexhibitv070e/

but not as just plain old http://www.amostyndesign.com which instead shows this instead:

Index of /

cgi-bin/
indexhibitv070e/

what am i doing wrong?

how can i get my .com url to just be my indexhibit site?

You need to take the files out of the 'indexhibitv070e' folder. The problem here is that you upload the folder AND it's files...instead of only uploading the files in the folder.

hi can anyone help?

i deleted the indexhibitv070e' folder in my root folder and instead uploaded just the files in it like vaska suggested - then changed the permissions and tried to click the install page but the page did not work.

tried deleting the page which the instructions mentions ( which i have done before) and re tried didnt work

tried to go to my indexhibit control panel and now i cant keep getting:

database is not installed

kind of same problem.

-I've instaled everything, gived the database name pasword etc...

-loging in whit the index1 logging.

-Changed the login/password, upload 3 pictures for trying (it worked)

-tryed to view my page, got the "building" message from the host server

-I've erased the index.php from the roots folder

-I've got a 403 message - access not allowed

-loged out, erased the install.php

-Trying to log in again: "database not installed"
