Indexhibit Support

Hi all,

Ttwo of my exhibits in slideshow mode are not working, and I don't really know why.

This is my website: www.raquelfigueira.com
and the exhibits having problems are: "Dialogue" and "Sophie Lingerie Collective"

The weird part is that the others are working properly (see "Animal Collective" or "Trace Bookcovers").

Is there anything I can do about this/did I do something wrong?

You have a lot of errors.
Ignore the "alt" things, and correct the rest.

This basically could come from your pre- or post-nav code (avoid line breaks by example).

i'm just wondering what exactly i should do and where...I'm so sorry, but I'm really really ridiculously-basic-beginner.

So, I checked my css files, the index and the style one. But the lines mentioned in the link you gave me don't really match? so, i don't really know where I have to do and what...

Pre- and Post Nav text box, where you call your logo by exemple.
Indexhibit control panel > settings

actually I don't have anything there and still is not working.
meanwhile I seriously messed up:/

I thought the problem could be in the index.php file because before I replaced the 'built with Indexhibit' with my copyright.
I thought I could have had edited something wrong and tried to fix it back and now BOOM no website...

ok - that's fixed now! managed to download the original index.php file again and replaced it.
back to the original slideshow problem...
still not working...

Same here - ran that error site above and apart from the 'alt' tag thing I have no errors as far as I can see. Setup a new indexhibit and just started to populate it for my nephew:

PAGE WITH ISSUE

I have set the section to 'Slideshow' watched it update and then checked the page - still doing over and over and won't go into slideshow mode

Any help greatly appreciated :)

Ok. You have a "#menu {width: 300px;}" in your css.
That make all your elemnts in the left of the content not clickable (as if a transparent layer was there). That's why the link is just working on the right, on "Marta" and not on "Veludo".

Decrease it.

@ jaselpool :

not the same issue for you. You're using my scroller theme, wich use jquery v1.3.1, and the slideshow won't work with this version of the library.

Search (here) for slider or slideviewer as an alternative
