Indexhibit Support

Thank you for your great work.

I was helping my friend uploading Indexhibit but I am not allowed to
Change the writing access in the folder from 755 to 777 and I cant delete the two main folder already uploadet on his server.

When I try it sais:

NOOP
421 Connection timed-out !
220 BulletProof FTP Server ready ...
USER webs2195
331 Password required for webs2195.
PASS ********
230 User webs2195 logged in.
CWD /
250 CWD command successful. "/" is current directory.
SITE CHMOD 777 scripts
500 Unknown command.

What to do??

What ftp program are you using?

Talked to the host company and they say The two main folders are root folders and can´t be deleted........ but I can´t change writing access in these two folders..... so Im stuck.

Any advice??????

Maybe I should be more precise .....

There are two main folder on the servers

1.Config and 1.WWW

Both are read only and therefore I cannot switch the folders to write also.

So Im stuck since I can´t change the Indexhibit folders.

Help please.

How are we supposed to know how your host does things? We don't have any clue what to tell you here.

But you've said already that host forbids changing them.

Get a new host?
